Morning Buzz — June 11, 2010

Google sent out a note yesterday indicating that “Web Alerts” were going to go away and current Web Alerts would be transitioned to type “Everything.” If you have been using the Web query you might need to narrow it down some to accomodate the new types of results you’re getting. I don’t expect it’ll impact my Web alert queries much as they use a lot of special syntax.

PubMed vs. Google Scholar for retrieving evidence:

The Clinton Library opening even more Kagan files.

An archive for 19th century photographer Eadweard Muybridge was recently put online.

Google Tags (ads on Maps) are rolling out nationwide.

Another search engine for Facebook, but… Facepinch? >cringe<
