From ReadWriteWeb: 10 Instagram Accounts for science geeks.

Ancestry.ca has updated the 1911 Canada census; it now has over 7 million names.

YouTube has launched a royalty-free music library for video background tracks and more.

The US Census has announced that it has added information from 100 countries to its HIV/AIDS database. “The database focuses on HIV/AIDS surveillance data for countries and areas with at least 5,000 population, with the exception of Northern America (including the United States) and U.S. territories.”

Pinterest, now with article pins.

The US is proposing ADA compliance for public Web sites.

Congratulations to the PLANTS database for the upload of its 50,000th image. “Besides images, PLANTS provides basic information on plants, including scientific names and distribution. It is used worldwide by scientists, educators, conservationists, students, farmers, horticulturists and others. All of this information assists people in identifying plants with the correct scientific names.”

Fantasy Football wonks! IFTTT has added a Yahoo Fantasy Sports channel.
