Twitter’s Web version is getting a facelift… which I will never see because I live on TweetDeck.

History teachers, you will dig this. The folks behind Zooniverse have launched Operation War Diary at http://www.operationwardiary.org . It’s a crowdsourced effort to transcribe World War I regimental diaries — 1.5 million pages of them.

Tumblr users can now mention and link to each other in posts. Really surprised it took this long…

YouTube has launched a new comment management tool. “Using this page, video owners can quickly scan their comments, remove offensive ones, flag comments for spam and give comments a thumbs up. The new comments inbox is divided into areas for published comments, pending comments and those marked as spam.”

Google has made an investment in Texas wind energy. The renewable energy investments continue….
