I had so much fun making word clouds with CloudSERP Explorer that I wanted to put them in another Gizmo.

So I made NewsDrizzle, which shows you recent topical headlines as word clouds to give you a current event vibe check.

In addition, the program generates three random Google News search links based on the words in the word cloud. The search is restricted to the last week to ensure that the results stay oriented to recent happenings.

It ends up being something like semi-random news browsing? It’s helping me find a lot of sources I hadn’t seen before and is surfacing some news I’d missed.
